Free Concert June 21st at The Music Sanctuary and the Bedlam Farm Open House!

Performing at The Music Sanctuary

I’m so excited to have some shows coming up, both on the road and right at home.  The Music Sanctuary is the joyful performing arts center I opened last year.  I got married and moved and haven’t done a concert since last summer.  I’m so happy to re-open and perform again in my home town.  I’ll be joined by the Rock Your Voice Singers debuting their original song, Superglue!  These young singers are taking my Rock Your Voice class at Hubbard Hall and together we co-wrote this song.  It’s fantastic!  In other wonderful news, Barry Hyman will be performing with me on one or more of his many instruments including guitar, bass sitar, pedal steel. harmonica, voice, and percussion.  To round out the band, Mitch Throop will be playing bass and Peter Maine will be playing drums.  These guys are the rhythm section of both The Cash Band with Harold Ford and The Roadside Blues Band.  I’m over the moon to be performing with such great musicians!

This concert coincides with a big weekend here in Cambridge with my dear friends Maria Wulf and Jon Katz, who have their open house at Bedlam Farm.  Maria will have an art show in her studio barn and Jon will be sharing his stories and you can visit the animals…plus more! It’s a wonderful experience and one I highly recommend! Click here for more info on that.

For your sweet tooth, there will be handmade chocolates and caramels for sale. Athena’s sister-in-law, Dawn Rieben is the owner of Tout de Sweets .Her confections are sooooooo gooooood…mmmm!!! They are also packaged beautifully so they make great gifts, if you can keep from eating them all yourself.

For more info on the concert click here.  Can’t wait to see you!
